Due to the nature of our working class families, residents were not adquately informed, consulted, and were not given a true opportunity to shape what is being built in their own neighborhood.
Currently, there is no disclosure of a Community Task Force that was created (made up of immediate impacted residents that would have stayed with this project from start to finish)
From Norwalk's website, figures or percentages that transparently show the number of residents that showed up to these meetings and how that parallels the number of residents in or around Hermosillo Park is unclear.
